No Bail Out Tax Committee Post Election Comments
“This election has not resolved any of the issues. There are still no guarantees from the race track. This is poor public policy to tax the weakest to benefit the richest. Many individuals, organizations, elected officials, businesses and business practices have been exposed. We look forward to exploring further the misinformation disseminated during the campaign and the false promises made. We worry about unintended consequences. Only time will tell how our county fares.
We would like to thank our county clerk, Rhonda Burrows and our county elections clerk, Yvonne Bartz, and all of the clerk’s staff for their tireless efforts to conduct this special election.
And finally, we would like to thank our two county commissioners, Eileen Sedillo and Jackie Powell for their leadership in trying to protect the taxpayers.”
