Final Effort to Save KEDU Underway
All "Live" Programming Has Been Suspended
Station has 48 hours to raise needed funds

Ruidoso, N.M. (KEDU) --  Community Radio KEDU received word Monday that its parent, Fort Stanton, Inc., plans to take the station off the air sometime this Wednesday unless supporters can raise $100,000 or come up with a new plan to solve the debtload AT KEDU. The funds are needed to clear an equipment loan, back taxes, and other operational debt.

The Fort Stanton, Inc. Board of Directors meetings are open to the public.  The next meeting is scheduled for:
          Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 5:00pm

Meetings are normally held on every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:00 pm at the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce meeting room. 720 Sudderth Drive, Ruidoso
       (Call 505-258-1833 to confirm the date)
Any interested party is invited to attend these meetings.

Steve Mark to our studios Friday. Steve is
the webmaster for the New York Sharks (and a lot of other folks too). Steve has been instrumental in making the NY Shark's football broadcasts a reality. Steve wants to see the area's highlights as well as seeing what goes on behind the scenes in the KEDU studios. Steve makes his home in the Boston area. More
