 We must understand that the mysteries of the Kingdom of God contained in the Word of God as revealed by Gods Spirit are equivalent to the Wisdom of God. I. To understand the mysteries of the Kingdom of God we must have a revelation that is only given by the Spirit of God. A) Rom 16:25 Now^{1161 to him that is of power1410 to establish4741 you5209 according2596 to my3450 gospel,2098 and2532 the3588 preaching2782 of Jesus2424 Christ,5547 according2596 to the revelation602 of the mystery,3466 which was kept secret4601 since the world began,5550, 166}

^{1. Here we find Paul stating that we are being established (set fast, turned resolutely, steadfastly set, & strengthened.) 2. According to the revelation,(apokolupsis) The revealing or unveiling of the mystery, (mysterion) of the kingdom of God. 3. Here Paul is saying that we are being strengthened & made steadfast & resolute through the preaching of the gospel, according to the revelation or the unveiling of the mystery hidden truths of Gods word by His Spirit.) B) 1Co 2:6 Howbeit1161 we speak2980 wisdom4678 among1722 them that are perfect:5046 yet1161 not3756 the wisdom4678 of this5127 world,165 nor3761 of the3588 princes758 of this5127 world,165 that come to naught:2673}

^{1Co 2:7 But235 we speak2980 the wisdom4678 of God2316 in1722 a mystery,3466 even the3588 hidden613 wisdom, which3739 God2316 ordained4309 before4253 the3588 world165 unto1519 our2257 glory:1391 1. Here we find that great teacher Shaul the apostle Paul contrasting this worlds wisdom with the wisdom of God. a) 1Co 2:9 But235 as2531 it is written,1125, (3739) Eye3788 hath not3756 seen,1492 nor3756 ear3775 heard,191 neither2532, 3756 have entered305 into1909 the heart2588 of man,444 the things which3739 God2316 hath prepared2090 for them that love25 him.84}

^{b) This is an amazing scripture - eye hath not seen The physical eye (opthalmos) has never seen(eido) considered, perceived or understood the things that God has prepared (provided or made ready) for them that love Him. Here I always imagined heaven when I would read this but now I realize that it is by the Spirit that God is already revealing to us the things that have been provided for them that love Him. - The physical ear has not heard (understood or comprehended) the things that are freely provided to us by God. c) These things are revealed to us by His Spirit & are not taught by the wisdom of man. 2. 1Co 2:10 But1161 God2316 hath revealed601 them unto us2254 by1223 his848 Spirit:4151 for1063 the3588 Spirit4151 searcheth2045 all things,3956 yea,2532 the3588 deep things899 of God.2316}

^{1Co 2:14 But1161 the natural5591 man444 receiveth1209 not3756 the things3588 of the3588 Spirit4151 of God:2316 for1063 they are2076 foolishness3472 unto him:846 neither2532, 3756 can1410 he know1097 them, because3754 they are spiritually4153 discerned.350 a) Here we find that the carnal man or the lower nature of man cannot discern, take or receive the things that are taught by the Spirit of God. b) God is a Spirit & He communicates to the spirit of man; very rarely does God ever communicate to the natural senses of a man. c) 1Co 3:18 Let no man3367 deceive1818 himself.1438 If any man1536 among1722 you5213 seemeth1380 to be1511 wise4680 in1722 this5129 world,165 let him become1096 a fool,3474 that2443 he may be1096 wise.4680}

^{1Co 3:19 For1063 the3588 wisdom4678 of this5127 world2889 is2076 foolishness3472 with3844 God.2316 For1063 it is written,1125 He taketh1405 the3588 wise4680 in1722 their own848 craftiness.3834}

^{1Co 3:20 And2532 again,3825 The Lord2962 knoweth1097 the3588 thoughts1261 of the3588 wise,4680 that3754 they are1526 vain.3152 C) Lets simplify this teaching. 1. The mysteries of the kingdom are simply "Hidden Truth." a) we speak2980 the wisdom4678 of God2316 in1722 a mystery,3466 even the3588 hidden613 wisdom, 2. The natural man cannot comprehend these mysteries. "Hidden truths." a) the natural5591 man444 receiveth1209 not3756 the things3588 of the3588 Spirit4151 of God:2316 for1063 they are2076 foolishness3472 unto him:846 neither2532, 3756 can1410 he know1097 them, because3754 they are spiritually4153 discerned.350}

^{b) Eye3788 hath not3756 seen,1492 nor3756 ear3775 heard,19 3. The mysteries "Hidden truths" of the kingdom of God are revealed made to be understood by Gods Spirit. a) Co 2:10 But1161 God2316 hath revealed601 them unto us2254 by1223 his848 Spirit}

^{D) Not only is it required that we have the Holy Spirit to be led into the will of God but we must have the word of God. These two are necessary to walk in the divine will of God. I liken this unto the Urim & the Thumim that the O.T. priests would use in ascertaining the will & direction of God for the nation of Israel. 1. Exo 28:30 And thou shalt put5414 in413 the breastplate2833 of judgment4941 (853) the Urim217 and the Thummim;8550 and they shall be1961 upon5921 Aaron's175 heart,3820 when he goeth in935 before6440 the LORD:3068 and Aaron175 shall bear5375 (853) the judgment4941 of the children1121 of Israel3478 upon5921 his heart3820 before6440 the LORD3068 continually.8548 a) Light representing the revelation of Gods Spirit b) perfections, that is, (technically) one of the epithets of the objects in the high priest’s breastplate as an emblem of complete Truth: - Thummim. The word of God is complete truth. II. It is When the Holy Spirit quickens Gods word to our hearts that we get faith that pleases God. 1. Heb 11:6 But1161 without5565 faith4102 it is impossible102 to please2100 him: for1063 he that cometh4334 to God2316 must1163 believe4100 that3754 he is,2076 and2532 that he is1096 a rewarder3406 of them that diligently seek1567 him.846 A) It is very important therefore to know how you can develop a hearing ear (an understanding heart) that you might know the things that God has freely given to us. 1. Without an understanding heart or a hearing ear you cannot bring forth the fruit that God desires you to bring forth. a) Mat 13:23 But1161 he that received seed4687 into1909 the3588 good2570 ground1093 is2076 he that heareth191 the3588 word,3056 and2532 understandeth4920 it; which3739 also1211 beareth fruit,2592 and2532 bringeth forth,4160 some3588, (3303) a hundredfold1540, (1161) some3588 sixty,1835, (1161) some3588 thirty.5144}

^{b) Rom 10:17 So then686 faith4102 cometh by1537 hearing,189 and1161 hearing189 by1223 the word4487 of God.231 B) There are two basic Greek words for the word; word. 1. Logos & Rhema which many bible scholars use to distinguish between the written word (logos) & the spoken word or command (rhema)of God. 2. In any case faith comes by the "RHEMA" word of God. C) It is written,1125 Man444 shall not3756 live2198 by1909 bread740 alone,3441 but235 by1909 every3956 word4487 that proceedeth1607 out of1223 the mouth4750 of God.2316}
